I begin today by acknowledging the GariNgai people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we gather today, and recognise their continuing connections to land, sea and community. I pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging and extend that respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples here today.  

As we live, learn and play in harmony here at the Bush School amongst the Blue Gum High Forest and the fauna that lives in it, we acknowledge this is and always will be Garigal land.
