Interest Groups and Extra-Curricular Groups
Students at Wahroonga Public School have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of activities held throughout the week. Below are descriptions of some of the clubs.
Students need to listen to announcements made at school and read the student notice board to find out when activities are on. We thank all of the teachers who give up their time to make all of the exciting activities possible.
Bush Building and Mud Kitchen
Join the Bush Building Club! The Bush Building group is open to K-2 students on Monday and 3-6 on Friday second half lunch time. If you would like to be involved, come to the Mini Mulch at the bell and meet Mrs Chenu. We build shelters, large and small, from items we can find in the bush around our school. We also create and play with mud. It is a wonderful opportunity to play with sticks and mud in a safe and supervised way. If you would like your child to wear gloves please provide these from home.
Chess Club, Ukulele Club, Young ICT Explorers (YICTE), Choirs, Dance, Debating, Lunch Mates, sport training for HZSS teams: students should stay tuned for announcements about these opportunities.
