2021 School Cross Country Carnival
We were spoiled with optimal conditions for our annual Cross Country. For the second year this event was held on site at school and we were so fortunate to have a stream of parent spectators cheer our runners on. Thank you to those parents that came along, it’s so wonderful to have you back to support our sporting events. There was a definite buzz and an extra spring in each step of our runners as they were spurred on by the support. A special thank you to those parents who helped as course marshals and to our staff and Year 5 students who assisted throughout the event.
I am proud of all the Wahroonga students who took on the course. It was tough! Well done to all participants. Your participation added to the house point score. Hughes were victorious by a mere 7 points. The final standings were:
1st: Hughes 381
2nd: Greentrees 374
3rd: Parkes 318
4th: Northcott 189
