Band News - Term 3, Week 4

As Plato, Classical Greek Philosopher and Mathematician once said: “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything”.

Through music, the students learn more than just music notation. Everyone in the Band Program is a part of a team, from the Year 1 and 2 Recorder Groups right through the bands to Concert and Stage Bands. Everyone relies on each other, and the time spent practising at home and learning in tutorials is testament to how great the recorder groups and bands are all sounding - and how well the students collaborate as a team. Well done to every student involved in the Band Program for your efforts and commitment, and for sharing your uplifting music with us all.
